FAQ'S

  • Where are you located? 

    • Boujee Picnic is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We proudly serve the Eastern Iowa area, including the greater Cedar Rapids area, Marion, Robins, Hiawatha, Palo, Solon, Swisher, and beyond. Additional travel fees may occur for extended travel outside of Linn County. We are happy to provide you a quote. 

  • Where do you set up picnics? 

    • Picnics can be set-up on any public parks or land. We are happy to make suggestions for ideas, if needed.

    • Boujee Picnic can come to you as well. Want your setup in your own backyard, barn, inside of your home, or at your business. We can do that.

    • We are exploring some joint events and collabs with established venues. Follow our socials and website updates as these options become available.

  • Is food provided? 

    • We always welcome you to bring your own food and beverage to enjoy at your picnic. We also have wonderful catering vendors we trust if you would like to review their options located on the add-ons page.

  • Can you host groups?

    • Yes! Gathering with groups is so much fun. Bridal showers, girls' days, birthday celebrations, gender reveals, paint & sip nights- the occasions are endless. Currently, we can easily accommodate 8-10 attendees for our picnics. We are working on setups that can accommodate up to 20 and more lounge space options. Watch for this in 2027.​

  • What if I am running late or leave early from my picnic? 

    • We know life happens sometimes;  please keep your Boujee representative informed of any changes in your arrival time. Please note, if you arrive more than 30 minutes past the time of your reservation, this will reduce your allowable picnic time. 

  • Do you require a deposit? 

    • All picnics require a $50 deposit at the time of booking. The remaining payment is due within 48 hours of your scheduled picnic. If no payment is received within 48 hours, your picnic can be subject to cancellation.  

  • What if I need to reschedule? 

    • You can reschedule your picnic at least 48 hours before your scheduled picnic. If you cancel your picnic less than 48 hours before, your $50 deposit will be forfeited. Any picnic “no-shows” will be charged the full amount for the scheduled picnic.

  • What happens if there is inclement weather? 

    • Not to worry! We would be happy to reschedule your picnic at no additional fee.

  • Can I bring alcohol? 

    • Boujee Picnic does not carry the necessary licenses to serve alcohol. We will not provide or serve alcohol during your picnic and are not responsible for any alcohol consumption of our attendees. Please enjoy responsibly.

  • If something breaks, am I responsible? 

    • Unfortunately yes, if there are damaged or missing items at the end of your picnic, we need to replace those items and will assess an appropriate charge to your card on file. 

  • What do I do at the end of my picnic?

    • Your Boujee Picnic representative will arrive at the end of your allotted time of your picnic. If you need to leave earlier, please give us a courtesy call or text to let us know.​ Please do your best not to leave the picnic site unattended.​

  • No shows:

    • No one wants this to happen and it is very rare. Due to the labor and cost involved in arranging the picnic and possibly food. No refunds will be issued for no shows.​
